POSITION TITLE: Custer County Coronavirus Relief Fund Coordinator FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Part-time Only
Period: August 1, 2020 thru December 31, 2020
Under the direct supervision and guidance of the Board of County Commissioners serves as project coordinator for the Custer County Coronavirus Relief Funds. Provides project and administrative support of a highly varied and responsible nature, tracks deliverables, coordinates/schedules meetings, ensures timely follow-up and deliverables are received from project team members and requests/tracks all reimbursement requests made to DOLA. Communicates with and coordinates activities to ensure project progress and completion in a timely and efficient manner.

Manages and supports grant requirements. In coordination with the BOCC, ensures proper implementation and utilization of Coronavirus Relief Funds (CVRF). Tracking of funds, prepares reports and submits information as required.
Prepares and submits all reimbursement requests
Keeps relevant staff informed about upcoming deadlines and deliverables, thereby ensuring smooth completion of work responsibilities.
Maintains records of all payments and receivables. Prepares monthly records for all CVRF related activities
All other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business and technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and a fluency in excel. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to interpret and apply Statements of Work related to CVRF. Basic accounting principles for budgeting, tracking, and invoicing for CVRF.
Excellent project management skills with experience in managing and supervising administrative projects.
Possess excellent organizational skills
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and produce quality results on time with attention to detail.
High School diploma or equivalency
Valid and current Colorado Driver’s License
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, and see, using close and medium range vision.
The employee is frequently required to view computer keyboards and monitors.
The employee is sometimes required to perform repetitive motions typing on computer keyboards.
20 hours per week
Rate of pay: $ 30.00 per hour without benefits – paid monthly

Corona Virus Relief Fund Dollars
Custer County has been awarded $434,700 from the U.S. Treasury Department to help offset expenses due to the Corona Virus pandemic. This grant program will reimburse documented expenses that are directly related to the COVID 19 pandemic. Custer County, Silver Cliff and Westcliffe representatives will vet all applications for reimbursement for expenses incurred from March 1, 2020 until December 30, 2020. Applications will be available on the websites of the three entities beginning August 17, 2020. The three overarching requirements for eligibility are as follows:1) necessary expenditures incurred due to the public health emergency with respect to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19); and 2) were not accounted for in the budget most recently approved as of the date of enactment [March 27, 2020] of this section for the local government; and 3) were incurred during the period that begins on March 1, 2020 and ends on December 30, 2020.
